GIMP 2.4 release planned for October 24th

Long time, no news for the GIMP. Maybe the so called calm before the storm ;) The release of the next stable version (GIMP 2.4) is planned for October 24th.

The date is not yet officially announced but the developers have discussed this recently in the GIMP IRC chat. Also the date - the 24th - would fit with the release version ;)

We'll keep you up-to-date!
