Win a brand new book on digital painting in GIMP! Win a brand new book on digital painting in GIMP!

We’ve just created a new contest here on gimpusers.com! This time we’ve driven topic towards painting again.

You’re encouraged to paint your own still life artwork that shows an object that is animation-less! While this seems easy in the first moment you’ll find that the devil lies in detail in that kind of painting ;) More can be found on the contests information page where you can upload up to 3 of your paintings!

We’re happy to also annouce prizes for the winners of this contest! The best 3 paintings will get a free copy of the book “Enjoy digital painting in GIMP by publisher Bur. The book is completely new and focuses on painting with 34 dedicated tutorials on this matter. The book is almost done and will be available when the contest ends!

We hope many of you participate in this contest and we hope you enjoy the time with your drawings.

Have fun!

Hello! It's not really a still life painting. You should choose another object :) something tech-free and animationless! But I like your phone!
