Hi,

it was nice if you could explain here a bit more, what you're trying to tell.
So I read your doc and as far as I can see you want GIMP to send image data to an application which converts them to sounds and vice versa, right? Have you heard of Metasynth, which generates sounds from images? For the other way around (converting sound data to images), there are already visualization plug-ins for many media players, like G-Force and so on. You could capture their output from screen and paste it into GIMP to do further artwork with them. But I doubt it would be sufficient to act as a VJ, since GIMP is more an image editor than a video editor.

Best regards,

grafxuser

Hi Ivano,

Is there a particular reason that you are sending this to 100% irrelevant lists while you could be sending it to _relevant_ ones (such as linux-audio-dev@)?
