Practical Uses of Various Filters?
Hello, this is my first post here, but I've been using GIMP obsessively for a while now.
I've often wondered if there is a practical use to each filter. I haven't been around long enough to connect the dots, but I do fully understand what each basic filter (and most plugins like GMIC/FX Foundry) will output.
Is there any thread, video, or article that can help me understand? Just to be clear, I am only asking about creative possibilities.
