Order of displayed windows.

Hello.
There is a little irritating behaviour in GIMP 1.3. There is constant order of windows (Tool options over Image window over Main GIMP Window). Sometimes it makes me nervous, is there a way to change on-the-fly or constantly?

I am using gimp-1.3.17, gnome 2.2, metacity 2.4 and gtk+2 2.2.1.

Regards, Irek S?onina

If I understand correctly, this is about the same issue as described in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112031. Unfortunately the bug seems to be handled the 'hot potato' way. It's now filed against metacity, but I've only experienced this behaviour wrt gimp 1.3. :/

The same thing in my case, only gimp 1.3. Maybe I'll try switch to sawfish or something in later days. Thanks for reply.
