hello,
my gimp version : gimp1_3-1.3.16-3mdk perhaps a mis-understanding from using that tool : when trying to move whith clicking one of the two black arrows : it appear a new third arrow
this new arrow desappear when go and return to desktop.

When I said, please file a bug-report, I wanted you to go to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/ and create a new report there. This is the only way to report bugs against gimp. It may seem tedious but it saves us a lot of work and makes sure that your report is not forgotten.

Fortunately for you, Jimmac reported the bug in the meantime:
