sketch effect - need help

sketch effect - need help

Hi list!!

Who knows how to sketch a picture like on the link below? I know how to "sketch" it, but I dont have any idea on how could I apply the colors.

Not to down-rate GIMP, but this form of art is, I think, best prepared on a vector drawing program such as Inkscape www.inkscape.org I have used it with ease for works such as at http://community.webshots.com/user/001donnie

Thanks dude, but I´d like to know if it´s possible to do using gimp...

I will try some ideas I had and I will post here if they worked -
