I downloaded Gimp in order to resize some photos. But I do not seem to find any tutorial about how to do this.If it is available where do I find it?Thank you for your time.

From where did you download the software? Regardless, go to the official site https://www.gimp.org/ then go to the "DOCS" link at the top.

Anyway, to resize: Image|Scale Image...
