HEIF file format not yet on 2.10.2 Windows version ?

According to README.md file from HEIF plugin for GIMP on github [1], "Note: this plugin is part of GIMP v2.10.2. You only need to manually install this plugin if you are running a lower version of GIMP."

However, the 2.10.2 Windows version does not recognize this file type version.

Is this not included in the package ?

libheif was patched for Windows supported after we had released 2.10.2. So no, it is not, yet.
