Errors when installing Debug Symbols

I just installing GIMP 2.10.2 and selected to install the "Debug Symbols" as well hoping it would help diagnose any future crashes but when I went to launch GIMP, I just got an error window saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application." I click OK, and another one comes up.

Looking at the title of the error windows, it seems to be trying to load the various plugin files but with a ".debug" extension. So for example, "blur.exe.debug," or "colorify.exe.debug." I can hold the enter key to select OK for all of them and GIMP will launch but I have to do that every time GIMP loads. I'm not sure if I'm missing some sort of files or if this is just a bug in the Windows version.

Uninstalling and reinstalling without selecting to install the debug symbols fixes the issue. Just thought I'd mention it to potentially help anyone having the same issue.

Thank you for your time,

This is a known issue with the 2.10.2 installer - you can manually workaround it by moving all the .debug files to .debug subfolder (or you can download https://eternallybored.org/misc/gimp/gimp-2.10.2-setup-1.exe which fixes this problem).
