Aquire missing

Gimp 2.10 on Debian
Xsane installed: /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/xsane

The Aquire-menu does not show up in Gimp 2.10. If I makes a symlink of xsane to .config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins, the startup process of gimp tells me that it is ignoring the duplicated plugin.

Gimp's plugin-browser does not show xsane.

How do I solve this?
