Installling 2.10RC using flatpak

Installling 2.10RC using flatpak

On the Gimp Download page there is a link to use flatpak to install Gimp. It seems to me that this is installing 2.8. Is there a way to use flatpak to instal 2.10RC?

I am on Debian and do not really know Flatpak. I also do not want to use the Ubuntu PPA where apparently deb-packages of Gimp 2.10RC can be found.

Development downloads are found here: https://www.gimp.org/downloads/devel/

I don't think anyone has built a flatpak for the 2.10RC1 release yet.

There has been an .appimage built, though, if you want to try using that one. (The packager is on the pixls.us forums if you have any questions.) https://discuss.pixls.us/t/gimp-2-10-0-release-candidate-1-available/7097/11
