I have a line drawing that is damaged. It is black ink on white paper. Looks like it got wet and colors bled through from something else. Is there a way to filter out everything except the black lines on white background?

Heavy handed: use the threshold tool (you can perhaps use selections to apply different thresholds to different parts of the image)

Maybe cleaner: Brightness/Contrast tool, and increase bot contrast and brightness. Again possibly over several selections.

Otherwise post an extract of the image.
