Problem Lasso Tool For Shading

What I am doing-

I am using the Lasso Tool for shading. I lasso where the shading will go, click edit > copy > edit > paste as > new layer. Move the shading to correct spot and color it in.

My Problem -

In between base color and shade color, I get a small white line on some parts.

Thank You.

Is the white line on the base layer or in the copy/pasted one?

Copy/Paste Layer

1) remove the selection

2) Set the alpha-lock on the layer (checkerboard icon at top of the Layers list)

3) Paint over the layer, the alpha-lock preserves the opacity of the pixels, you won't "spill".
