Good Day, Is there a tutorial available in GIMP that will show me how to cut and paste images or partial images from one digital photo to another. Best Regards.

It is fairly straight forward.

1. Open image 1 in gimp 2. Open image 2 in gimp
3. Use one of the selection tools and select the area you wish to copy grom image 1 4. Edit->Copy
5. Switch to image 2
6. Edit->Paste as new layer
