gimp cant find help

gimp cant find help

Hi,
I am new to gimp and downloaded/installed both GIMP itself and also the help files. GIMP installed no trouble, help installed no trouble (windows 7, 64bit) but on starting GIMP it says that the help files haven't been installed - but they have! How do I get GIMP to recognise them?

I have never been able to use the help file.  Just go to youtube and they have videos on all Gimp stuff. Dale
