GIMP logo

I think it resides in the Gimp exe file in the Bin folder (Win). Or the executable may be called an "app" in the same Bin folder.

/usr/share/gimp/2.0/images you will find

gimp-logo.png gimp-splash.png wilber.png

You can also get the Scalable vector version from the GIMP source code in the GIT repository, the latest version at time of writing is here: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/tree/desktop/src?id=f61b58ff38b2453550ea0212d77b99fea3848acd
