First Use

I''ve just downloaded GIMP and the toolboxes have disappeared from the sides of the screen and the "Wilber" icon in the background is that large I can only see the tips of his ears.

First Use

Press the "Tab" key to toggle the toolbox windows.

Check your preference settings for screen size and resolution.

And/or, Edit > Preferences > Window Managemnt > Reset saved window positions to default values

If your toolbox is configured to show multiple docks, you will have to add all but the Tool Options dock back after doing that.
