Import/Open 16-bit RAW images?

Hi,

Is there a way to import/open a 16-bit RAW image in GIMP like ImageJ does?

Thank you very much,

YS

Import/Open 16-bit RAW images?

You can load it in the Gimp (using rawphoto plugin) but it will be converted to 8-bit image.
It is not possible to work with 16bit/channel images in the Gimp now. But you can try Cinepaint which can edit up to 32 bit per channel. It is derived from the Gimp but has a little old fashioned interface.
