Gimp file extensions

Hello,

I just started using Gimp to manipulate a .jpg token image that I have for Fantasy Grounds software. The tutorial I was watching showed an earlier version of Gimp which allowed you to save the image as either jpg or png extension. However, this version seems to just give me xcf extension, which my Fantasy Grounds software does not recognize. Is there a way to save the image as either jpg or png extension?
