GIMP Help - Everything in the Wrong Language!

Hi there,

I just recently downloaded GIMP on a macbook, but everything is in a different language (see attachments). How do I fix this? I have been trying for over 6 hours.

Attaching files doesn't work here. Please upload to something like imgur.com and post a link here.

You should be to change interface language via Edit -> Preferences dialog. on the Interface tab. I vaguely recall one of the recent versions of GIMP having a fix for Mac about that.
