with a little bit of help, i managed to build gimp-gap from cvs.

it needs ffmpeg-0.4.8.tar.gz available from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=16082 and this needs to be configured --enable-shared

anyways, thought i would share this. rumor has it the cvs version is much much better than the tarball.
