How do I install the Gimp CD?

Can someone please tell me how to install the CD Photo & Image CD on my Mac iBook G4 with OSX10.3.5?

I can't get the CD to open. Did they send me the wrong one for Mac?

you will need to contact the people/group responsible for making this cd. the people at gimp.org and on this list have nothing to do with making cd installations of gimp.

meanwhile, the people i hear who are running gimp2 on macintosh are using it from darwin:
http://gimp2.darwinports.com/ or from fink: http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/gimp2 and, i warn you, i have no personal experience with either.
