Action automation in GIMP 2.8/2.9

Action automation in GIMP 2.8/2.9
Hi,
I have noticed that in GIMP's rotation/Unified Transform tools we do not have an input box for values that could help automate actions. Say I want to duplicate a flower petal by 12 times and automatically rotate these duplicates each by +5% around the centre.
Or are there some hot keys I need to use for such operation?
