gimp menu reorganization

hi,

menu reorganization is being discussed on another thread about photoshop. (btw, photoshop is a better app each time because of the pressure gimp puts on it -- so basically the whole thread is crap no matter how interesting it is)

i put together some stuff to take to the gimp convention. while i was there, there was no opportunity to talk about it. i ended up mostly having a bad nightmare the first night there about having two yin-yang plug-ins with the same name.

to be truthful, i was hoping to reorganize the plug-in menus and get something going with beta.gimp.org that would be the start of a plug-in cvs thing. there is a chance that whatever i have done to meet this goal has worked against me. beta.gimp.org seems farther away now that i have actually gotten a look at its physical self (http://carol.gimp.org/gallery/places/portland/2004-oscon_img_0004.html i suggested taping a big box fan onto the open side).

gimp parties are better than photoshop parties ....
