gif loop forever

The default action when saving a gif in gimp is loop forever

this would seem contrary to accessibility guidelines and advice which suggest that animations should not cycle. you could join us on:

Could you point to the Guideline(s) which propose this behaviour? Are you refering to guidelines which cover web content, user agent or authoring tools?
