missing combine channels

Hi,
I use gimp 2 on SuSE Linux 9.1 and I miss the channel-combine-feature former (gimp 1.2) at "Image/mode/combine...". Does anyone know, what happened to the combine-feature?

You are probably looking for Filter/Colors/Compose.
