Submitting a Gimp-2.8 splash screen

How do i submit my XCF for an official splash screen image for Gimp-2.8? http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/5493/gimpsplash.png

I realize they must have many, many submissions for ideas on this.

Unfortunately the decision on the splashscreen has already been made. But you'll have another chance with 2.10 or 3.0 , whichever is next :)

...and BTW is GIMP not Gimp. That is the way to write an acronym...
