2.6.10 won't find my scanner

2.6.10 won't find my scanner
I've added GIMP 2.6.10 to my new Win7 machine and can't get it to see my Canon
multifunction scanner. I use the same scanner through GIMP 2.4 on my XP
machine.File/Create/Scanner or Camera shows my webcam but not the scanner. The TWAIN
plugin is there.I vaguely remember having to do something to tell GIMP to find the scanner,
but can't find this in 2.6 or the on-line help.How do I get GIMP to see the Canon MFC-4360 scanner?
