Rounded Corner

I am trying to make a rounded corner for a 1-pixel-wide border that will be on a white background.

I draw a circle and then stroke it with black. It comes out jaggedy and I think I need to apply anti-aliasing but haven't figured how yet.

Could someone tell me how to do this or recommend a tutorial or suggest a better way?

Thanks,

Matt

Do you stroke with a paint-tool or do you use the new stroke functionality in gimp-2.0? The latter should give better results.

I am using WinGimp 1.2 because I still have Win 98 and WinGimp 2 requires Windows 2000, according to the WinGimp website.

No, it does not require Win2k.

I changed the radius to 15px instead of 10px and it looks a lot better. Is this as good as it gets?
