Since it seems that the aspect of GIMP will not change for the upcoming
version 2.8 of GIMP (by a couple of days in string freeze state), IMHO
now is the perfect time for a branch of the GIMP manual GIT tree.

Please feedback. Then, if agreed, please go on.

Yep, Roman and me already discussed it today, and he'll try to do that
ASAP, so we could release stuff and safely move on to covering new
features.
