I wonder how you want to make suggestions without even asking us what the goals and target user audience of GIMP are. Looks to me as if your approach could be as flawed as the many that we have seen so far. Perhaps it would be a good idea to work closely with the developers and users instead of putting up suggestions somewhere and flaming us later for ignoring them.
