Rounded Selection enhancement proposal

Rounded Selection enhancement proposal

After learning about the rounded corners tutorial on GUG (http://gug.sunsite.dk/tutorials/rounded-corners/), I find I use this technique repeatedly doing web/print design work.

I created a Script-fu which automates this process on a selection. Here:
http://epierce.freeshell.org/gimp/selection-rounded-selection.scm

I have audaciously located this plug-in under 'Select'.

This script is tested on 2.2pre1. Is it possible to get this script added to future releases of the Gimp?
