Translation of Gimp

High,
I want to confirm the accuracy of the following translations. 1) gegl - operations/workshop/spherize.c:42 In Spherical cap apex angle, as a fraction of the co-angle of view the co-angle is the complementary angle? 2) gimp - ../app/core/core-enums.c:994 FG (t) is it foreground (transparent)? and BG (t) is it background (transparent)?
3) In gimp-libgimp - ../libgimpbase/gimpbaseenums.c:681 and ../libgimpbase/gimpbaseenums.c:682
Is it Spherical (inc) Spherical (inclined) and Spherical (dec) is it Spherical (declined)?
Bye

1) gegl - operations/workshop/spherize.c:42 In Spherical cap apex angle, as a fraction of the co-angle of view the co-angle is the complementary angle?

Yes, or even more precisely in this context, it's the supplementary angle.

2) gimp - ../app/core/core-enums.c:994 FG (t) is it foreground (transparent)? and BG (t) is it background (transparent)?

Yes.

3) In gimp-libgimp - ../libgimpbase/gimpbaseenums.c:681 and ../libgimpbase/gimpbaseenums.c:682
Is it Spherical (inc) Spherical (inclined) and Spherical (dec) is it Spherical (declined)?

Close, it's "increasing" and "decreasing".

The reason for the aggressive abbreviation of (2) and (3) is that they both appear as combo-box values in the new gradient editor, which uses a canvas overlay for the UI, that we want to keep as small as possible. Ideally, we should only use the abbreviated versions in the combo box, and display the full strings in the menu, but right now we use the abbreviated versions for both.

The problem with 1) is that supplemantary angles have addition of 180 degrees and the complemetary of 90 degrees. What is right?

The geometry in question is symmetric, where all the relevant angles can be thought of as either formed by, or bisected by, the axis of symmetry, so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. However, since the "angle of view" property goes up to 180 deg., "supplementary" would be more appropriate in this context.

and something else:
for the "bogus" what is more precise virtual, overlapping, or what?

A more formal alternative to "bogus" would be "invalid", "erroneous", or "dubious".

FYI for translators: this is now a thing -- we now have separate full and abbreviated versions for some of the gradient-editor strings. If you've previously translated the abbreviated strings to full-length strings (e.g., "FG (t)" to "Foreground (transparent)"), please update their translation to something shorter, and use the unabbreviated version for the full string. Thanks :)
