scaling issue with Windows 10

Hello,
I installed Gimp on my surface pro 4. My screen resolution is 2736x1824.
The problem is that the display is too small because of display scaling, it look likes this :

I tried to disable this option “Disable display scaling on high DPI settings” but it didn’t work. How can I do to use Gimp with a proper display? Thanks for your help
Have a nice day

This should probably be added to FAQ (if the theme shouldn't be included in installer outright):

Download the Color-48 theme from

and extract it to C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\share\gimp\2.0\themes, then in GIMP go to Preferences -> Themes, select Color-48 theme, click OK and restart GIMP.

If the probability of success is not almost one, then it is damned near zero.
