Releasing a new locale?

I've asked before but maybe it got missed because it was a double-barrel question.

I've completed the main UI translation into Scottish Gaelic (gd) and done some of the other ancillary files. What's the process for making sure this gets released?

I unfortunately don't know the process itself, but we usually suggest to contact the gnome language team for scottish gaelic: https://l10n.gnome.org/teams/gd/

Maybe they can help.

Pushing your PO files to Git and admiring the sheer badassity of what you've accomplished :)

Seriously, once the PO files are in the Git repo, and you checked that MO files get built, you're good.
