Gimp on Chrome OS

Hello,

I have a question.

Is it possible Gimp as a desktop application on Chrome OS (Chromebook) (not as a browser application).

Meanwhile Chromebooks have a market share of almost 25% in the sale of products in the United States.

It would be a shame not to have this great application on chrome os.

Not that I really see this feasible in any way but thought I'd contribute a more reliable source. Amazon top laptop sales there are four Chromebooks in the top 10. I'd say that zdnet article is fud after light research.
