Making GIMP 1 window instead of 3 for Windows operating System

Can anyone tell me how to make my GIMP setup just on Window together instead of 3? I would like my tools and layer bars to be attached to my main screen I'm working on help would be greatly appreciated

In menu: WIndows > Single-window mode.

You need GIMP 2.8.x for that.

Windows->Single Window Mode (at the bottom)

Oh, and this is saved as part of your window options, so if you want GIMP to start in single window mode you'll need to save window positions (from Edit > Preferences) while you have single-window mode enabled.
