but I'm wondering why in the page

all the pdf files (even those in german) report "pages" and only the italian pdf file, "Seiten" instead of "pages" (or better "pagine")

???

Hi Marco,

good point - this seems to be completely messed up :) Good news is, since the docs.gimp.org webpage is part of the docs project in the cvs tree can you fix this as any error in the docs can be fixed by ourself :)
