It is good, though since it is all green, it has a theme, which GIMP does not (other than gray). This splash is not very universal.

A bright, colorful image. I like the creative use of texture on the text. The image illustrates GIMP's capabilities rather well.

My fourth choice. It's very pleasant to the eye and tranquile. But it associates more with Greenpeace or something like that, than with an image manipulation program.
